Food is good and reasonably priced. Quick service and easy in and out. Only downside is cash only.

Spicy Chicken. I've had it 15 times . Yum There Rangoon's are the best ever. Love that place.

THE BEST CHINESE IN THE USA. Traveled cross country just for it. The service is always great. They'll answer any questions you have and make accommodations when they can. NO CARDS. CASH ONLY. Be ready for some of the best food around. The interior is dated, but that's how you know it's great!

I am always impressed with this restaurant, we order the sweet and sour chicken and beef and broccoli, we order the small and it's filling enough for 2 people!!!! it's hot and fresh, the price is reasonable, and we are never disappointed!!! The service is always professional and fast,... You won't. regret this place, we also order the crab ragoons!! next time I am geting the egg rolls!!!

House of China has been around forever because it is LEGIT. Anyone giving these guys less than 5 stars is a philistine. The egg rolls are top notch, stuffed with fresh cabbage, shrimp, and pork. Charlie and Li wrap them by hand; they've *always* wrapped them by hand, because they care about quality. Ask nicely and they'll customize any order. Other highlights: veggie lo mein (ask for it spicy) and the crab rangoons. I was a big fan of the sweet and sour chicken back in the day. The food is served hot, on plastic plates. What, you wanted a real plate? Get the hell outta here with that nonsense. This is the real deal, and the real deal comes on a plastic plate. The presentation is casual, simple, and good. House of China's aesthetic charm is one of its main draws. Charlie is a freaking artist and has been decorating the restaurant for decades. Upon entering House of China, one enters a whimsical jungle of faux grape leaves and plush monkeys. A vulture fountain, hand crafted by Charlie in the early 2000s, stands guard over the restrooms. Actually, I can't offer an accurate representation of what the restaurant looks like now because Charlie is constantly redecorating. If you want an approximation, though, it'll be something along the lines of Rainforest Cafe meets Chicago Chinatown meets Dada. The service is personal and kind. They don't take credit cards, you fool. Why the hell are you trying to use a card for a bill that comes in under $10? If you're looking for the soulless garbage they shovel into troughs at Panda Express, get the hell on over to the mall with the other bums. If you want real food served by true legends of West Michigan, House of China is your jam.

Excellent customer service! Nice simple menu with affordable prices. Jumbo shrimp fried rice or rice noodle lo mein will hit the spot! The egg roll and sam see soup is also a delight!
